So...from the title you can assume this is gonna be a long one. I stopped blogging a while ago, I don't exactly remember why. But with a new baby boy on the way(yep that's right..), I figured now would be a good time to start again.
So, where did I leave off? Right, Steve and I were moving... Well we did move. We found a nice place in Nampa. We had a roommate and things seemed to be going rather smoothly. We had an awesome Christmas and New Years. Although it was my first New Years Eve as a 21 year old Steve and I decided to stay in, I wasn't feeling so well... Well there was a reason or that...SHOCKER...I was pregnant...I couldn't believe it when I saw those two pink lines...Steve and I weren't trying so it came as quite a shock...Well I immediately dismissed the test as a dud and promptly went to the store to purchase another test. That one too? Could it be? Two possible defective pregnancy tests? No no no, I just left the pee on it too long... I was in denial. I took 8 tests all together. 7 were positive and one had an error message(see I told you defective). I went to the Dr and she confirmed my suspicions... I was indeed pregnant. We didn't tell anyone at first. I waited a few weeks and things progressed so we decided to tell our families. They were all so very excited. This being both of our parents first grandchild. Steve and I were getting used to the idea and were pretty confident we could handle the stress of a new baby. When something rather tragic happened...
I got FIRED. Yep. Me. Canned...I was really rather pissed about it. I had worked at an Orthopedic Surgeons office for just over a year, when they decided to cut me loose. The office politics there were absolutely ridiculous. Now I am much happier that I am not there. But when it happened, I was really rather distraught. They gave me a bogus reason when they "let me go" and when I questioned them, they danced around the truth. I filed for unemployment and had to dispute everything. It was quite a headache. They said horrible untrue things about me and my job performance. Which ended up not helping them...I won my case and have been hanging out ever since...I tried to find another job. But no one is really to keen on hiring a pregnant girl. So Steve has been working hard for the two of us. Now with all things considered. New baby, no job...We needed a new living arrangement. Unfortunately we had to move back in with my Mom. It's not ideal but, the help will come in handy soon.
So I guess here we are...I am 33 weeks pregnant. I am due September 19...It seems like I have been pregnant forever. I am sure everyone says that though. We are having a little boy. His name is going to be Judah. No ideas on a middle name yet. We are really excited to see him for the first time. I can't wait to see who he looks like. Well I have rambled on long enough...
